Event Spotlight: The Mum Club x Once Upon a Farm at Holland Park Cafe

A special morning of expert insights, community, and new beginnings in West London

There is a distinct comfort in gathering with other mothers - especially when the setting allows for a rare moment of pause and genuine connection. Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting another beautiful event with The Mum Club Kensington & Chelsea. Set inside the light-filled Daisy Green Holland Park Café, nestled right in the heart of one of West London’s most iconic parks, this morning was particularly special: an exclusive collaboration with Once Upon a Farm to celebrate the UK launch of their organic, farm-fresh snacks.

As a West London event and lifestyle photographer, my focus at these gatherings is always on capturing the unscripted atmosphere - the quiet conversations, the shared knowing smiles, and the supportive community that flourishes when local mums come together.


Beyond the joy of hot coffee and good company, the morning featured an insightful live Q&A with Dr. Maryhan, an award-winning psychologist and parenting expert. As she shared practical guidance on navigating the emotional landscapes of early parenthood, the energy in the room shifted into collective reassurance. My lens caught the intent, listening faces and nods of agreement across the room - the palpable relief of realising you are not alone in this season.

The event also offered a first-of-its-kind taste test, with mums and toddlers exploring the new Once Upon a Farm pouches. The bright, playful displays contrasted beautifully with the leafy, natural backdrop of Holland Park, making for candid, joyful frames. Surrounded by soft morning light streaming through the windows, the café felt like a calm sanctuary filled with the warmth of a true local village.
