Bringing mums together over hot coffee, delicious food, and meaningful conversation is at the heart of The Mum Club Hammersmith and Fulham. September’s Brunch Club at The Brown Cow in Fulham was no exception - it was a beautiful morning filled with local mums, babies, and expert insights.
As a London family and event photographer, capturing the energy and atmosphere of any local mum event is always a privilege, but returning to Fulham for this particular morning was particularly personal. When I first moved to London 15 years ago, I lived in Parsons Green. Back then, The Brown Cow was one of my absolute favourite local spots for Sunday roasts and catching up with friends, so walking back through those doors brought back so many wonderful memories.
The highlight of the morning was an insightful talk by Annabel Karmel, the UK's leading expert on baby and children’s nutrition. Annabel shared practical advice on baby weaning, nutrition tips, and simple strategies for introducing solid foods. Mums had the opportunity to ask questions, gain confidence in their feeding journeys, and take home expert knowledge straight from a culinary icon.
Enjoying a hot meal while caring for a baby can feel like an impossible task. Fortunately, Peace & Riot UK were on hand providing professional event babysitting and childcare support. Their team always keep the little ones safely entertained with age-appropriate activities, allowing mums to sit back, chat, and finish a meal while it was actually still warm.
