ABOUT

Hi, I’m Kim - an in-home lifestyle photographer specialising in refined, story-led imagery for families across London and the UK. I’m based in South East London, where I live with my husband, our two children, and our two fluffy dogs.

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was 16, and from the very beginning I’ve been drawn to people - their features, their sense of style, and the personality that defines them. That passion led me to study Fashion Photography at university, and later to co-found a boutique modelling agency in London. Over time, my focus shifted closer to home, documenting my own children as they grew up. Those images have become some of our most valued possessions, and it’s now such a privilege to create the same treasured keepsakes for other families across London and the UK.

My work centres on in-home photography, using natural light and shaping sessions around the everyday moments you already love sharing as a family. With a background in fashion, I bring an editorial sensibility to my work, with a focus on composition, texture, and a refined minimalist aesthetic. Every home and every family is different, which is what makes this job so special. I look forward to meeting you and working together to capture something truly personal and timeless for your family.

GET TO KNOW ME

~ What do you love most about living and working in London? It’s such a privilege to have everything on your doorstep, particularly with young children. We can walk ten minutes in one direction and be on the train heading towards the heart of the city, or ten minutes the other way and be surrounded by green space. There’s also a real sense of community in East Dulwich, which makes it feel very connected and grounded. I feel very lucky to call it home.

~ What inspires you outside of photography? I’m very drawn to interiors and the way spaces can feel both lived-in and considered at the same time. I’m also heavily inspired by fashion - clean lines, effortless silhouettes, and a timeless sense of understated simplicity that is naturally reflected in my work.

~ What do you look for when you’re photographing a family? I look for connection first and the way a family naturally moves together within their home when they’re not thinking about the camera. I’m also very aware of the light, the textures and colours, and how each room naturally frames your family life.

~ Why do you think everyday moments matter so much? Everyday moments matter because they’re the ones that make up real family life. They might not feel significant in the moment, but over time they become the memories that stay with you the most.

~ What’s something you always have with you on a shoot day? I always have a book with me if I’m travelling on public transport - it’s a quiet way to switch off between sessions. If I’m driving, it’s usually my phone for music, which sets the tone for the day.

~ One thing you always notice when you walk into a home? The colour palette and how it interacts with the light - it creates atmosphere and defines how soft or cool a space feels. This is what makes every session feel so different.

~ The most important question - coffee or tea? An oat latte first thing in the morning, and a mint tea before bed - my two daily non-negotiables.
