BEHIND THE LENS

 

I'm Kim - a London-based photographer creating refined, artistic imagery for families across London and the UK.

My relationship with the camera began at sixteen, driven by a genuine fascination with people and their unique features. That curiosity led me to study Fashion Photography and, later, co-found a boutique modelling agency here in London. Those years really shaped my eye - instilling an editorial sensibility in my work that’s still focused on clean composition and a minimalist aesthetic today.

FROM FASHION TO FAMILY

 

Moving into family and baby photography felt like a natural shift once I became a parent. As I started capturing our daily lives, those photos turned into some of our most treasured keepsakes, and I quickly realised I wanted to give that same feeling to other families.

​

To capture that same magic for you, I bring my editorial background into your private spaces, completely stripped of commercial rigidity. My approach is observational, working entirely with natural light and the unique architecture of your home. I find endless inspiration in interiors and the way a home can feel both beautifully considered and deeply lived-in, so when I step into your space, I focus first on how the layout, colours, and light interact to create the perfect backdrop for your family's story.

The goal is not a series of heavily managed poses, but a collection of elevated, timeless images that serve as a reminder of exactly how this chapter actually felt.

- Based in: East Dulwich, London, where I live with my husband, our two children, and two dogs.
