The first ten days with a new baby exist in their own bubble - the endless feeds, skin-to-skin cuddles, and the slow realisation that everything has changed. I recently spent a morning with a family in Clapham who had just welcomed their 10-day-old baby boy, documenting the earliest days of their very first week as a three.
Set in a light-filled Clapham apartment, the session benefited from beautiful, lofty ceilings and an incredible statement staircase that provided a striking backdrop for our editorial family portraits. The natural light poured into the space, casting a soft, luminous glow across every room. Utilising the architectural details of their home - from the airy living area to the clean lines of the stairs - allowed us to blend high-end design aesthetics with intimate, relaxed moments, creating a collection of images that feel both refined and deeply personal.
