Documenting a morning of expert parenting insights, community connection, and a first look at Once Upon a Farm at the Holland Park Café.

There is a distinct comfort in gathering with other mothers, especially when the setting allows for a rare moment of pause, learning, and genuine connection.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of returning to document another beautiful event with The Mum Club Kensington & Chelsea. Held at the light-filled Daisy Green Holland Park Café, nestled in the heart of one of West London’s most iconic green spaces, this morning was particularly special. It was an exclusive collaboration with Once Upon a Farm, marking the exciting UK launch of their organic, farm-fresh snack pouches.

As a lifestyle photographer based in London, my goal at these events is always to capture the honest, unscripted atmosphere - the quiet conversations, the shared knowing smiles, and the supportive community that flourishes when local mums come together.

EXPERT INSIGHTS: A LIVE Q&A WITH DR MARYHAN

Beyond the joy of a hot coffee and good company, the morning offered a wealth of support for the Mum's in attendance. The event featured a live Q&A session with Dr Maryhan, an award-winning psychologist and parenting expert.

As Dr Maryhan moved around the room, the energy shifted into a space of deep reflection and collective reassurance. She shared invaluable, practical guidance on navigating the emotional landscapes of raising young children, tackling everything from toddler tantrums to managing our own parental anxieties.

Documenting these moments is always a privilege. My camera focused on the intent, listening faces of the mothers, the nods of agreement across the room, and the palpable sense of relief that comes from realising you are entirely normal, and you are not doing this alone. These are the threads of connection that define the Kensington and Chelsea mum community.

A FIRST LOOK AT ONCE UPON A FARM IN THE UK

The event also provided a first-of-its-kind experience for the club, as mums and their little ones got an exclusive taste of Once Upon a Farm’s nutritious, cold-pressed snack pouches, which have officially landed in the UK for the first time.

Co-founded by actress Jennifer Garner, the brand is celebrated for bringing clean, farm-fresh, nutritious food to little ones. Watching the toddlers (and Mum's!) happily taste-testing the new pouches made for wonderfully candid, joyful frames. The bright, playful product displays contrasted beautifully with the leafy, natural surroundings of Holland Park, adding a vibrant and celebratory feel to the morning’s gallery.

GATHERING AT HOLLAND PARK CAFÉ FOR COFFEE CLUB

The choice of venue could not have been more fitting. Holland Park Café served as a calm, airy sanctuary, surrounded by the park’s beautiful woodlands and roaming peacocks.

The soft, natural light streaming through the windows made it an ideal space for coffee club and lifestyle photography, allowing me to capture the morning organically without interrupting the flow of conversation. From mums balancing babies on hips while chatting with Dr Maryhan, to old friends catching up over brunch, the café was filled with the warmth of a true local village.
